Rønne-Rø-Helligdommen

Cykeltur mellem Rønne, Rø og HelligdommenThe cycle route from Rønne to Nyker follows the former line of the Bornholm Railway Company.

Starting in the early 1900s, there were train services from Rønne to the villages of Sandvig, Gudhjem and Nexø.

After Klemensker you are back the old railway line, passing through the spectacular Kleven, where the path leads between steep rock walls to the lush Spellinge Bog.

From the village of Rø, which used to have a station, the route runs downhill to the Bornholm Art Museum and Helligdomsklipperne (Sanctuary Rocks), some of the most beautiful rock formations on the island.
