Blue Flag on Bornholm

The beautiful beach of Dueodde and the cosy harbour of Svaneke have received the Blue Flag.
Once again, the Dueodde Beach and Svaneke Harbour on Bornholm have been awarded the Blue Flag by the "Blue Flag International Jury".
The Blue Flag organization works towards sustainable development at beaches/marinas through strict criteria dealing with water quality, environmental education and information, environmental management, and safety and other services.
The Regional Municipality of Bornholm now offers an extra service to the citizens and the tourists of Bornholm, and the Blue Flag is a visible sign that the municipality makes an effort to the environment on Bornholm.
