The cycle hire firms are well equipped and offer more than just bikes. They can have everything ready and waiting for you when you arrive.

Since 1981 the Regional Municipality of Bornholm has been establishing a network of signposted cycle routes throughout the island with a total length in excess of 230 kilometres.

Today Bornholm has one of the best and most beautiful cycle networks in Northern Europe. It takes cyclists through the fascinating Bornholm landscape and the picturesque fishing hamlets along the coast.

All the rides follow Bornholm's network of cycle routes. The network is made up of paths, forest tracks, quiet roads and marked cycle lanes on main roads. Many cycle routes run along Bornholm's now abandoned railway lines. The cycle routes are marked by green and blue signs.
